The Below-Ground Exterior Storm Shelter is a higher-capacity steel shelter designed for properties requiring expanded interior space and exterior placement. Installed flush with ground level, this model provides dependable storm protection while maintaining a low-profile appearance above grade.

Designed to support occupant comfort and accessibility, the shelter includes integrated entry steps, a fixed handrail, and interior perimeter seating. A shock-assisted steel hatch system supports controlled opening and closing while providing secure access during severe weather events.

All welds are professionally dye tested, and the exterior is protected with an epoxy and tar blend coating to help resist moisture and corrosion. The interior is finished with a bright white enamel coating to enhance visibility and simplify routine maintenance.
